Three
Date: Thursday, March-April. 31-3, 2010
Location: The Milwaukee Ballet
Time: 7:30 pm
This vigorous performance challenges and showcases the strength of the Company’s versatility in three beautifully crafted works. Diane Coburn Bruning’s Ramblin‘ Suite is an adventurous journey set to the music of the Tony Award-winning and internationally acclaimed Red Clay Ramblers, a stringband whose repertoire reflects mountain music, bluegrass, New Orleans jazz, and the American musical. Milwaukee Ballet’s Petr Zahradnícek will stage Broad Waters, which recently premiered at Ballet Memphis. Having emerged as one of the new diverse and most sought-after choreographers for the Broadway stage, ballet studio and beyond, Julliard graduate Darrel Grand Moultrie returns to Milwaukee with a world premiere, following his recent performance on Broadway in Billy Elliot.
