With the aid of the fabulous Countess and her exotic entourage, Julia’s wacky journey of self-discovery yields promising results in this adult fairy tale about sleep lost and hope found. This vigorous performance challenges and showcases the strength of the Company’s versatility in three beautifully crafted works. Diane Coburn Bruning’s Ramblin‘ Suite is an adventurous journey set to the music of the Tony Award-winning and internationally acclaimed Red Clay Ramblers, a stringband whose repertoire reflects mountain music, bluegrass, New Orleans jazz, and the American musical. Milwaukee Ballet’s Petr Zahradnícek will stage Broad Waters, which recently premiered at Ballet Memphis. Having emerged as one of the new diverse and most sought-after choreographers for the Broadway stage, ballet studio and beyond, Julliard graduate Darrel Grand Moultrie returns to Milwaukee with a world premiere, following his recent performance on Broadway in Billy Elliot.

Cameron Mackintosh presents a brand new 25th anniversary production of Boublil & Schönberg’s legendary musical, LES MISÉRABLES, with glorious new staging and spectacular reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo.  This new production has already been acclaimed by critics, fans and new audiences and is breaking box office records wherever it goes.

The London Times hails the new show “a five star hit, astonishingly powerful and as good as the original.”  The Western Mail says “an outstanding success – the best version yet.”  The South Wales Echo proclaims “such an experience, lavish and impressive – a guaranteed crowd pleaser” and the South Wales Argos says “dream the dream – it is worth all of the hype.  A magnificent production…of one of the greatest musicals of them all.”
